I had to put down this book several times. No. It was not boring. It was just that I got attached to King Jaron and he suffers a lot and I honestly thought he would lose in the end.
This book is quite different from the others, heavier, sadder and full of action. Several times I wanted to skip pages so I wouldn't have to read about Jaron's suffering or see him so close to losing.
