Resenhas - The Shadow Throne

I had to put down this book several times. No. It was not boring. It was just that I got attached to King Jaron and he suffers a lot and I honestly thought he would lose in the end.
This book is quite different from the others, heavier, sadder and full of action. Several times I wanted to skip pages so I wouldn't have to read about Jaron's suffering or see him so close to losing.
The end was heartwarming and still kind of innocent. The action kept me more or less engaged, but it was not the author's fault is just that I get really nervous when I care for the characters.
I almost didn't write anything because in truth even know I'm not sure how I feel. So I cut this short and recomend that people read it and take their own conclusions.
