Readable if you do not expect it to be realistic
That was wild! Credit given where credit is due: it was a quick, short and somehow entertaining read. Many chapters ended with a cliffhanger, the premise was ok, and the characters started out being relatable. I'd go as far as to say it was a slow burner. I'd even thought this would be a more domestic-drama-suspense style book, but I was very, very wrong. Suddenly things go off spectacularly. As well my engagement with the book. Twist after twist after twist and the story got off the track and turned into something absolutely not realistic/believable.

Overall, this book is readable and at times fun because it hooks you in from the first page. It's amusing and suspenseful. However, by the near end it starts to unravel for me. It just got a bit too out there. I didn't believe it. I don't mind suspending my disbelief to a point, but having to go to the level of detachment from reality this book forced me into just irritated me immensely. A whole lot would have to fall into place and people would need to be very stupid for this to turn out in such a manner.
Besides all of these flaws, why would anyone ever want a husband like this anyway? I think it made light of a very grave subject matter.
