The Serial Killers: Ed Gein

Ed Gein is probably much less well known than the characters that were inspired by his macabre crimes, including t Psycho and Buffalo Billin Silence of the Lambs. Gein murdered two people, and exhumed the corpses of many more in order to fashion keepsakes and mementoes from the body parts.

Although he was eventually tried for his crimes, he was eventually found legally insance and confined to a psychiatric institution until his death in the early 1980s.

The Serial Killers series lifts the lid on some of the world's most notorious serial killers and criminals. The narrative outlines the crimes of the killer, exploring the motives and impulses which led the perpetrator to commit their crimes.
