Looking to what's invisible but it's durable!

We can tell a persistent theme from the begging of the story, that is the importance to look beyond what we can really see, such as it's demonstrated by the narrator first drawing, people couldn't get it because they were only worried about what was obviously seen, not really questioning what had inside of it.
