Strong Motive

The career she built came from the ashes of her own life. But someone was out to destroy her. In the small Lake Erie town of Silverton, Ohio, crime runs. While helping a prominent woman navigate the court system, after her husband is charged with assaulting her, Elizabeth falls prey to a mysterious stalker. Richard Gardner is rich, connected, and the number one suspect. Detective Martinez is assigned to Elizabeth's case and receives a tip her client is the target of a murder for hire. Elizabeth has devoted her life to helping women escape dangerous men. She did it herself years ago sending the man to prison, and he's had plenty of time to plot his revenge. It wouldn't be the first time an inmate got to someone on the outside. As the evidence builds in her client's case, the danger escalates in her own. The tangled web connecting the two cases begins to unravel, and the circle of suspects grows. Elizabeth and Martinez will have to work together to make sure no one is hurt, or killed.
