Avery Silman is thrust back into a world he left behind, after hanging up his suit many years ago, seemingly for good. Now he must decide if taking up the mantle of Isom once again is his best course of action . . .

In Isom #1, Avery’s sister Altona contacts him to investigate the disappearance of a young woman, who was last seen in the company of former friend Darren Fontaino. But Darren has changed since he and Avery hung out back in their youth. Instead of the friend he knew, Darren has become a cold-blooded shot-caller, and one of the most feared men in the city. Little did he know that his visit with Darren would result in one of the longest days of Avery’s life!

Alphacore and Yaira each added their own complications to Avery’s longest day, while the living tank known as Santwan has reappeared to provide even more hardship to his life.
