A collection of essays discussing Jewish artistic expression and the works of specific Jewish artists, focusing on architecture. Pp. 49-56, "Su quale terreno - l'arte nei campi di sterminio, " state that artistic works by Jewish inmates of Nazi camps were not attempts at an imaginative integration of reality, but rather an effort at documentary and photographic reproduction out of a need to convey testimony on the camp experience. Pp. 57-61, "Assassinato un altro bambino ebreo, " denounce the terrorist attack against a Rome synagogue (10 October 1982). States that so-called anti-Zionism is in fact plain antisemitism, and that the Italian press and intellectuals are very much tainted with both in their relation to Jews and Israel.
