Death's Daughter é um livro para quem está procurando uma leitura ao mesmo tempo fácil e surpreendente. O livro mistura o humor autodepreciativo de Callie, a Filha do Morte, com deuses e criaturas tiradas de diferentes fontes religiosas e culturais. Amber Benson faz um trabalho muito rico na hora de juntar os personagens mais inusitados em cenários improváveis... e talvez isso seja o segredo do livro.
