Genius book where all three short stories show one thing in common: the way these three women's lives revolved around other people - parents, children and most of all, husband - which was ultimately the cause of their despair. They molded their personality, their schedule, their life around these people making them their whole being, nothing else mattered, not their interests or studies, not their hobbies or their personality. Everything about these book shows the bad in the motherly side in women, the obsession around these beliefs they were educated to live by and how that ended in them being utterly alone in the end no matter how much they dedicated their life to them.
Most characters were seriously unlikeable but I still felt empathetic with most of them because the bottom line is - as a woman, the experiences you have while being raised will somehow relate these stories to you or someone you know.

Se eu tivesse +35 anos e lesse o último conto desse livro precisaria que me tirassem da sacada me prendessem numa maca com camisa de força e me fizessem uma lobotomia

Um livro interessante em que as três histórias (três partes) tem pontos em comum: as três mulheres vivendo basicamente em função das pessoas em seu convívio. Confesso que minha leitura foi bem mais fluida na primeira e última partes, a segunda não me prendeu tanto e foi a que eu demorei mais para ler. Acaba que você não se apega tanto aos personagens, mas como o ponto do livro não é esse, isso não afeta em muita coisa durante a leitura. O ponto do livro é mostrar que, mesmo que elas tenham se esforçado tanto em função dessas pessoas, elas acabaram sozinhas no final e de uma certa forma, machucadas.

Adorei
Um livro que fala sobre a solidão, mas que também questiona, de forma dolorosa e angustiante, a forma como a mulher se vê perante a sociedade.
os três contos são repletos de lições, angústias e situações que só nós mulheres conseguimos entender e se identificar.
recomendo muito!!!!
